About

Resistance Rabbit is independent reporting, analysis, and editorial cartooning that connects evidence, history, and lived political experience to expose structural and narrative seams often missed by partisan perspectives. If you’re less interested in teams and more interested in whether the republic can still function, this is for you.

Tavern Chat

Tavern Chat is a virtual bar for real-time discussion when events move faster than articles.

It’s where breaking situations, early questions, and unfinished ideas land first—often before they become essays, and sometimes instead of them. I’ll post prompts and updates as things unfold, and subscribers can jump in to discuss, challenge, and think through what’s happening together.

The name comes from The Tavern in Abingdon, Virginia (1779)—a place where serious conversations about power, resistance, and consequence once happened long before history caught up. The format is modern; the spirit is the same.

Why subscribe?

Because clarity is becoming rare, and independence even rarer. This publication isn’t built to flatter audiences or chase narratives—it’s built to examine where systems strain, stories crack, and accountability slips.

Subscribing also gives you full access to ongoing work and behind-the-scenes—and helps ensure this kind of scrutiny doesn’t disappear when it becomes inconvenient to power.

If you have a sense that something is broken—and a willingness to look past click-bait rage and partisan battle lines—you’ll be in good company here.

How Resistance Rabbit articles are Created

Resistance Rabbit is researched, written, and edited by me. I rely on human sources, physical references, lived experiences, and original investigation to develop stories. I also use internet-based and AI-assisted tools to help locate source materials, organize research, proofread, and refine tone—never to replace analysis or judgment.

Photographs and videos are real and unaltered beyond standard editing. Financial and other data illustrations are manually compiled in Excel unless otherwise noted. Illustrations are usually AI-assisted or AI-generated for now.

Responsibility for the substance, perspective, and conclusions remains entirely mine.
